The Quick Beetle, an optional upgrade available at the Scrap Shop in the Skyloft Bazaar, allows the Beetle to fly faster. The Beetle flies for 30 seconds unless it flies too far away from Link, in which case the time will be cut short and the Beetle will return. The Beetle can be found inside the Skyview Temple after defeating a Stalfos in the central room located in the northern chamber. Initially thought to only exist as a memory within the Hall of Memories, he turns out to be an entity in the current timeline of Lore.
He tends to disregard others as being beneath him, and considers them as inconsequential as birds, as seen from how he talks. The Hero first meets Erebus in the Hall of Memories, while he is impersonating a Father of a church in Luminova (now known as Darkovia), under the alias "Seth Cay Dhows" where he has very dark plans with regards to the town. Erebus was originally thought to be the Mysterious Stranger of the Shadowscythe, but he is in fact something much different and much more sinister.
